Three games occurred in Division I with the top two team in action this week and the implications were massive for both. Mansfield Town have looked the dominant side all season, but a few losses means they have been overtaken at the top by Romulus. Mansfield were away to Stourbridge whilst Romulus travelled to Stratford Town. The weeks other game was Chase town hosting Tamworth.

Mansfield managed to put five goals over a struggling Stourbridge side to make the score 5-0 to them whilst Romulus won 1-0 against Stratford Town. With both teams winning this has all the makings of a dramatic last few weeks of the season. Mansfield all but looked like clinching the title in February and going a season unbeaten but that has all changed.

Romulus will be keen to repeat what they did last year by once again winning this division. Romulus have slowly had a successful rise to the top this season and they will be raring to make the last few games a successful one.

Both Stratford and Stourbridge have constantly found it hard to find form this season with Stratford near the top a few months back and Stourbridge mostly lingering round the bottom for most of the season.

In the weeks other game, Chasetown hammered Tamworth by 8-2 and put them three points behind the away side. Both Teams have been in mid table and both will want to finish as high as possible as the season ends.

Next week sees two games taking place with Chasetown playing Kidderminster Harriers to be level with Tamworth with Chasetown travelling to Mansfield next Monday. A win for Mansfield will see them back at the top as the season reaches its conclusion.
