There was late drama with three goals in the final five minutes as Eastleigh Blues claimed three vital points in their top of the table Division E clash with Oxford City winning 2-1.

Both teams went into the contest having won their opening two matches of the season and the game was inevitably tight with it destined for a 0-0, until a very eventful final few minutes.

Oxford took the lead through a penalty with just five minutes left and it suddenly became their game to lose.

However, the reigning Division E champions’ lead did not last long, with Eastleigh equalising straight from the kick-off.

The Spitfires then dramatically took the lead in stoppage time with the winner being scored with a good header from a free-kick.

Eastleigh are now the only unbeaten side in the league after ending City’s faultless start.
