Chippenham Town are in good spirits after securing their first win of the season with a 3-1 win over Farnborough, who are struggling to gain points in this campaign.

Manager Martin Eede praised his side who went 3-0 up with goals from Freddie Porter, Daniel Watts and Declan McStravick. The team lost a few key players to injury, but Eede claims this was the club’s strongest starting.

“We were in control and should have had more,” he said. Chippenham next travel down the M4 to play Hungerford Town. Farnborough were also praised by Eede for showing a good fighting spirit to claw back a goal.
