Looking to improve on a lack-lustre 4-0 loss last time out, Crewe Alexandra's U19s go up against City of Liverpool this weekend.

Head Coach Ray Walker will have access to a stronger matchday squad for the visit to Merseyside, making him hopeful of bringing their five-match losing streak to an abrupt end.

The fixture, which will take place at the Kirkby Leisure Centre, is an important one for both sides. City of Liverpool, currently sat in fourth place, are in desperate need of the three points which could see them end the weekend top of the league.

For Crewe, however, picking up any kind of result will be crucial if they are to keep themselves off bottom spot.

The Alex are sat one above Stalybridge Celtic, who are also yet to collect a point this season, but have an inferior goal difference.
